Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez has worked as a Cuban as well as an American television arbitrator since Caso Cerrado. The actress was raised in Havana Cuba Ana moved to Miami when she was 2 years old, accompanied by family members. In Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is the host of renowned Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado" which is the first Spanish language program nominated for an Daytime Entertainment Emmy(r) Award. The show in 2015 ranked as the most popular Spanish-language programming on the air at 4pm in important demos. Polo, born on April 11th, 1959 in Havana Cuba was a graduate of Florida International University in Political Sciences. After earning her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for nearly 20 years. In the end, she obtained the PhD in law from University of Miami. University of Miami and practiced law for more than 20 years in the city of Miami. Her legal skills were used in other court shows and Telemundo Sala de Parejas 2001, as well as on the television show Sala de Parejas. Polo has been a vocal advocate for LGBT rights throughout her career. She is a lawyer of The University of Miami School of Law as well as an Florida Bar Member.
