Lauren Ash

  Lauren Elizabeth Ash, born February 4, 1983, is an Canadian actress and comedian living in Los Angeles. She was originally from Belleville, Ontario. Ash is best known for her performance on Superstore's sitcom Dina Fox. She is also an alumna of both Second City Toronto Mainstage and Second City Chicago mainstage and is part of the comedy sketch duo "Cory!" She is a twice Canadian Comedy Award winner for Best Female Improviser in 2007 and 2006, and was also awarded for the Best Female Performance - Television for Almost Heroes in 2012 and in 2015, she won the award for Best Female Performance in an Feature Film for her role as Carol in the film Dirty Singles. She also appeared on the show pranks called "Scare Tactics". In 2020, Lauren co-hosts her own podcast, "True Crime and Cocktails" with her cousin, Christy Oxborrow.
