In the past, she wrote He Saw Jesus Jesus Is His Name, as well as Love Me To Death and recorded the songs. She has also rolled out GIFFT the brand of wine together with Scheid Family Vineyards in Monterey CA. Recently, she made her first directorial experience with THE GOD WHO SEE, which starred Nicole C. Mullen. The two co-wrote the entire music for the movie. Gifford has donated to numerous charities which aid children, including Childhelp and The Association to Benefit Children and Cassidy's Place. Two houses named for her two children were called Cassidy's Place and Cody House. Marymount University awarded her honorary degrees for the work that she did in labor relations.
